Inflation relief camp in the state from April 24 – Relief Camps will be set up on a permanent basis along with Prashasan Gaon/Shaharon ke Sang – People of the State will get relief in camps, will get benefit of schemes with on the spot registration

Jaipur, 09 April. The State Government will put up camps of schemes related to public welfare and provide relief, from urban wards to villages. The inflation relief camps will be organised along with the Prashasan Gaon/Shaheron ke Sang campaign from April 24 to June 30. The general public and the deprived category will be informed about the public welfare schemes in these camps and they will be linked to the schemes as per their eligibility. The Panchayati Raj and Rural Development department will organise the ‘Prashasan Gaon ke Sang campaign’, while the Department of Urban Development, Housing and Local Self Government will organise the ‘Prashasan Shahron ke Sang campaign’. 

Camps in 11283 gram panchayats and 7500 urban wards

Two-day Prashasan Gaon ke Sang camp will be organised in 11283 gram pachayats and two-day Prashasan Shahron ke Sang camp in 7500 urban wards. A special counter of the inflation relief camp will be put in these camps. 

2700 Inflation Relief Camps at various places

Inflation relief camps will be put at 2000 places in the State including government hospitals, gas agencies, bus stands, main markets, shopping malls, airports, railway stations, district collectorate offices, panchayat samiti, municipality and other government offices and public places. Besides this, in rural areas, an inflation relief camp will be put along with the prashasan gaon ke sang campaign at each panchayat samiti. In urban areas, one camp at the level of municipality, two camps at the level of municipal council and 4 camps at the level of the municipal corporation.

People will get relief in Camps

People in these camps will be informed about the Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Yojana, Mukhyamantri Nishulk Bijli Yojana, Mukhyamantri Nishulk Annapurna Food Packet Yojana, Mahatma Gandhi NREGA, Indira Gandhi Shahari Rojgar Guarantee Yojana, Social Security Pension Scheme, Palanhar Yojana, Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana and Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Durghatna Bima Yojana along with other schemes. Along with this, the general public will be given the benefit of the schemes on the spot. In these camps, any adult member included in the Jan Aadhar card can get registered as per eligibility.

Chief Secretary gives directions for the preparations

Chief Secretary Smt Usha Sharma held a meeting on organising these camps at the secretariat on Saturday. She gave necessary directions to the departmental officers, all the divisional commissioners and district collectors through video conference. 

It is to be mentioned that the State Government made many public welfare announcements in the 2023-24 budget to provide relief to the general public and the deprived category and keeping in view of their daily needs. These inflation relief camps will help in carrying these announcements to the people along with effective and timely implementation on mission mode.
